What is Lakeside Motors?
We are a licensed, bonded and insured independent auto dealer, and proud member of the Washington State Independent Auto Dealers Association.  The company mandate is to consistently offer the finest quality, pre-owned vehicles at the best value.

What makes you different from other auto dealers?
The main difference is that we do not have the attitude found at most car dealerships.  Our staff is experienced, knowledgeable and very service oriented.  We offer a simple, hassle free environment and have an array of certified pre-owned cars, trucks and SUV’s.   So, If you are interested in a vehicle advertised please call (206)526-8950 to verify if it is in stock. We will also arrange showing by appointment.

How does your pricing compare to other dealers?
With our low overhead, the prices we advertise are typically hundreds if not thousands less than the competition.  You can view our current inventory on the web at www.autotrader.com as well as on this website.  Hopefully we have the exact vehicle you’ve been searching for.  However, if an item has been sold, and our inventory tends to turn over quickly, the staff at Lakeside Auto Sales will gladly search for a similar vehicle right away – at no extra charge of course!

Am I going to get a better deal working with you?
YES, because the price of a vehicle is only part of the transaction.  We insure the mechanical stability of a vehicle by having an independent certified firm perform a safety inspection, and provide written documentation of their findings.  Each vehicle has its VIN number processed via Car Fax & that history is also provided.  If the factory warranty has expired, we offer one of the industries best after market mechanical service contracts at a nominal fee.  Many of our pre-owned vehicles come with a 90 day or 3,000 mile warranty.

What if you don’t have exactly what I am looking for in stock?
If we do not have what you are looking for, our "Concierge Buying Service" will locate a specific vehicle based on the clients wishes, needs and an agreed to budget.  Pricing is pre-determined by year, make, model, options and mileage, and clients can review estimated values by visiting www.NADA.com or www.kbb.com (Kelly Blue Book). Our buyers will work as expeditiously as possible to fill a request, but please note that certain vehicles are more difficult to locate, due to limited supply, limited production or current market demands.

(A)  Our associates keep the client informed of the search progress.  Potential vehicles will be described over the phone or by email, and whenever possible, digital photography provided to assist in the decision process.

(B)  Pricing will typically fall somewhere between the NADA retail and wholesale book values. 

(C)  We do not charge a fee for this service.  The total amount due is the purchase price, applicable State tax, license and/or title transfer fees.

(D)  Once a client has selected a vehicle, it is put through a mechanical and safety review, a VIN search is performed, and all the results are provided in writing. 

(E)  The "Concierge Buying Service" delivery is completed at our Seattle office, or by appointment at the clients home, office or even Credit Union.  At Lakeside Auto Sales we strive to eliminate the hassle typically associated with an auto purchase.  Once you have examined the vehicle and taken it for a test drive, all that remains is to sign documents, which typically takes no more than twenty minutes.

Do you accept trade in’s?
YES.  As a licensed dealer, we can assist you with a trade and insure you receive the applicable tax credits.   We strive to get our customers top value for their existing vehicle.  However, ‘value’ is based on the overall condition of said trade-in, as well as the current market economics.  Although estimates can be made on the trade itself, we must see and drive any potential trades before a fixed number is assigned.

How do I buy a vehicle from Lakeside Motors if I live out of State?
We have served customers from Florida to California, New Jersey to Montana, in Alaska and Hawaii.  Our procedures provide a potential buyer as much information on the vehicle as is attainable, and digital photography of the unit is always made available.   Applicable paperwork is sent via overnight express delivery for signatures. Payment in full is expected prior to delivery.   Our staff is available to assist getting the vehicle to a rail head, auto transport company or marine forwarder.  The cost of transport is born by the purchaser.  There are no additional State fees or transfer charges applied to the transaction.  If a client prefers to fly into SeaTac Airport to personally take delivery, we will either arrange for one of our staff to meet said client curbside outside baggage claim, or reimburse the individual for cab fare once the transaction has been completed.

Can you assist me with the purchase of a NEW vehicle?
YES.   As a customer convenience and service, our staff will source a new vehicle through an applicable franchise dealership somewhere in the northwest, based on the clients ‘wish list’ of options, colors, etc.   We will do our best to locate the vehicle as well as procure the best ‘value’ available.   The customer is buying from the franchise store, but without the need to drive from one store to another looking for the right rig, spending time negotiating, or going through any hassle whatsoever.   Any special program being offered (rebate, APR, etc.) by the manufacturer is applicable, and all warranties are in place.   Our staff acts as a broker on the clients behalf.

Can you assist me with financing?
YES.  Although at this time we don’t offer ‘in-house’ financing, we do have relationships with Banks and Credit Union’s, as well as sub-prime lenders for those individuals who may need special assistance.  Each transaction is treated on a case-by-case basis.  In order for us to assist you, a signed credit application must be filled out so it can be submitted to potential lenders.
